A small house that works its own stone.
Al-Tayyab Enterprises has been in marble, onyx and salt since 1997. We are not a trading desk. We buy at the quarry face, bring the material into our own workshop in Karachi, and cut, turn, carve and pack it ourselves.
That means the person who quotes you is the person who can walk over to the saw and check the block. It also means we can take a drawing, a sample or a photograph and make the thing rather than send you the nearest catalogue item.
Over the years the work has gone out to buyers in China, Mongolia, Japan, the United States, Canada and the Gulf, and we have shown the range at international stone and homeware fairs. The catalogue has grown from raw stone into lighting, culinary salt, tableware, furniture and full architectural cladding.

Twenty-eight years, one seam.
1997
The first contracts
Al-Tayyab Enterprises begins trading marble and onyx out of Karachi, working direct with quarry owners in Balochistan and the Salt Range.
2004
Into salt
The Khewra supply line opens. Edible grades and the first hand-finished salt lamps are added alongside the stone business.
2011
First export runs
Container shipments begin to China and Mongolia, followed by North America: onyx tableware, lamps and graded salt.
2016
On the exhibition floor
The company starts showing at international stone and homeware fairs, taking the Pakistani seam directly to specifiers and buyers.
2020
Architectural stone
A dedicated cut-to-size and cladding line opens, delivering facades, porticos and feature walls across Karachi.

Retail salt, lighting, tableware, furniture and architectural stone, shipped to buyers across Asia, the Gulf and North America.
What you can hold us to
Quarry direct
We buy at the face: Khewra for salt, Balochistan and the Chiniot belt for onyx and marble. No trader sits between the seam and your container.
Cut to your drawing
Send a setting-out drawing or a sample. We calibrate, cut, carve and finish to it, and send photographs of the run before it is crated.
Lot-tested purity
Every edible lot ships with its own mineral analysis. Halal certified, food grade, and traceable back to the seam it came from.
Export packed
Fumigated pallets, corner-protected crates, shrink-wrapped and marked. Documentation handled end to end from Karachi port.
